Moana Integrated Annual Report
We exist because of Māori for Māori.
Te Ekenga Tangaroa stands tall outside Moana New Zealand’s head office. It is a stake in the ground; a commitment to all Iwi acknowledging the Moana whakapapa and Māori ownership.
When this year’s Integrated Report brief challenged us to communicate this commitment to their stakeholders, the answer, you could say, was looking directly into our eyes.
The carved head of Tangaroa reaches out from the cover, and elements of the Pou’s design weave through its pages. Carefully crafted infographics illustrate how Moana is structured, their strategy for creating long-term sustainable growth, and how the business is performing in its key areas of focus. And with each turn of the page, we hope the reader is left with no doubt that people are at the heart of everything that Moana does and everything Moana hopes for the future.
This project won bronze in the Toitanga category, at the 2020 Best Design Awards of Aotearoa. It was also a finalist in the Business Communication category.
